Fundraising to provide free holiday camps for children with disabilities
2025 Fundraiser
My name is Ellie, I'm 18 and after volunteering at the Heswall camp with some of my friends during Summer 2023 as part of our Gold D of E, I witnessed first hand the positive impact that the charity has on the lives of both the children and their families.
Each camp costs over £35,000 to run and in order to help towards the huge cost of running the holiday camps every year, I'm organising a fundraiser for the charity. The support offered through the camps has always been and should remain free to the children and their families. Therefore, the charity relies on the generosity of the local community to continue to run them for the children.
Last year, we raised over £2,500 for the charity, this paid towards two children attending the camp.
We are hosting a fundraiser on Sunday 9th March 2025 from 1.30pm until 4pm at St Lukes Church, Hoylake.
